Smitten and Eager Young Man with Photo on Bed, Vintage Snapshot 1930s report cards so could just not resist

so could just not resist

With lush big tulips on lime green stems at each corner

12" t x 5 1/4" w (including handle) x 4 1/2" d

but a nice object to hold in one's hand and almost Brancusi-esque stood on one end

I believe it is likely Arts and Crafts period

Smitten and Eager Young Man with Photo on Bed, Vintage Snapshot 1930s report cards so could just not resistWhat a goof this guy, looking very very smitten one wonders if this pretty young women is really his girlfriend, or just a fantasy! Hard to beat the sincerity of his longing gaze though, curled up with the framed photo of her on his bed almost as if she were there! (Makes one wonder who took the photo, too!) Pretty true feeling, and pretty excellent. 5" x 4". A bit of curling and a bit of rippling and not a super crisp image, but pretty great still..
