Dorcas Tinnimai Bennett Papa Dog Sculpture Andrew Baker Size: 240x165x60mmThis hand crafted grass, wool and raffia 'Papa Dog' sculpture is made by artist Dorcas Tinnimai Bennet, a member of the Tjanpi Desert Weavers, This extraordinary collective is made up of over 400 Aboriginal women artists from 26 remote communities across the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) lands. Made from raffia, wool and native grasses known as tjanpi in the Pitjantjatjara language, each piece is a unique expression of culture,
